Simplex verb
Verb meaning: BE SAD [be-sad]
Comment: Korean experiencer verbs such as this one have attracted considerable attention within and outside Korean linguistics, since they seem to permit double-nominative case frames (see Yeon 2003: 49ff.). It is not clear whether an DAT-NOM case frame would be allowed with BE SAID, although many sources such as the former one often claim that Korean experiencer verbs allow for such a case frame. These examples sound a bit stilted to me, which is why I provided example which sound more natural to me here. Note that in spoken usage it would sound awkward to overtly mark both the experiencer and the stimulus argument with case, although this rather might have to do with information structure than argument structure.
