warrgi ganangu

Complex verb

Verb meaning: HUG [hug]

Comment: Complex Verb. Lit. 'hold in arms in front of body + GET/HANDLE', i.e. 'A gets/holds P in his/her arms in front of him/her'. The UV is a bivalent stative predicate which participates in a caused state / inchoative caused state alternation (the IV ganimuwa 'have' is used instead of ganangu), but since this does not affect valency, it is not included in the list of alternations here.
