bwibwise (bwise)

show comment

All of the examples we used for the verb bwise are reduplicated because of the use of present progressive aspect, which is codified by means of the first syllable of the verbal word (ex. 223). Ex. 332 does not show the reduplication since it is refering a perfective event. There is also a distinction between bwise 'to grab something' and bwibwise 'to grab something many times= to touch'
