bula (3)

show comment

Bula (3) is a transitive verb whose precise meaning is 'abandon'. Depending on the semantic nature of its object, it does not necessarily imply movement. Although there is an obvious semantic connection with bula (1) 'settle; put', the constructions in which these two verbs occur would be difficult to analyze if they were viewed as a single verb.
