rēng (扔)

show comment

rēng is used as a transitive verb in practically the same way as throw. However, it in itself implicates the complement information just as away does in throw away. rēng is often used with a pre-verbal PP to indicate direction of throwing. When used in BA and BEI constructions, a post-verbal PP is possible, but using a pre-verbal PP is also possible.
