There is no counterpart. They have ni-ru 'boil' and jag-u 'grill'. But they do not have a general verb for cooking. The verbal noun plus light verb rjo:ri su-ru 'cook' is regarded as a Standard Japanese expression, not an expression in this dialect, by my consultants.
